I loved it. The narrative was great and the subplots were all perfectly intertwined.

His second book, The Snow Garden, was also cleverly written. Needless to say I loved it and idolized Christopher Rice.

However, the third book, Light Before Day, was not as good as the previous two. It was somehow a bit messy and not as seamlessly woven. But I did still enjoy it though.
His latest, Blind Fall, was out in the market since last year but I only found out last week. I tracked it down to Kinokuniya in KLCC and luck was on my side. The only copy was reserved for me. Braving KL traffic in Ramadan, I went to KLCC and got me the book.
Finished reading it at home town, in between Raya-ing and cooking in the kitchen. I enjoyed it but it was not as stellar as the first two, although better than Light Before Day.
Let's hope Christopher Rice writes about something else other than the Marines in the next book coz I ain't liking the two with marines in it...
